These components live inside the clutch basket and are responsible for all drive to the rear wheel. When your clutch begins to slip under load or becomes difficult to disengage, a full replacement is required. Using new steels alongside frictions prevents premature wear caused by old, warped plates. Soak all friction material in oil before assembly to prevent burning. Ensure the clutch cover gasket is replaced to avoid leaks after the rebuild.
