What it is

The Moose Offroad CONTROL CABLE, THROTTLE, cables. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Moose throttle cable for the fuel-injected KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 2-strokes, fitting the EXC, TE, XC and XC-W 150 to 300 TPI models. It runs from the throttle tube along the frame to the throttle body, translating your wrist into engine response. Inner wires fray and pick up dirt over a season, and a sticky throttle is the warning. Fit it during a service while the airbox and tank are already off. Grease the inner before assembly, then route it so it clears the bars through the full steering arc. Dial the free play to spec to stop the engine hanging on.
