This high-wear item is situated behind the front sprocket. It constantly faces chain tension, heat, and abrasive grit. Failure usually manifests as oil dripping onto the swingarm or rear tyre. This kit includes the seal, O-ring, and spacer needed to restore the barrier. It is common practice to replace these every time you swap out a drivetrain or if you detect any lateral movement in the shaft. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure the new seal seats correctly against the casing.
