On a 50cc mini-MX, kid weight makes or breaks the front end. A 1.8 N/mm rate on 29.5mm tubes sets the front of an MC 50, SX 50, SX 50 MINI or TC 50 up for a rider in the 25-40kg bracket, kit on. Run it too soft and the fork dives through the stroke under brakes, packs down in ruts, and the front washes mid-corner. Measure sag before you fit. Drain the fork oil, swap both legs as a pair, refill to spec. Job's an hour on the bench.
