Spring rate dictates how your fork sits in the stroke. Too soft and you blow through travel on every braking bump. Too stiff and the front skips across chop instead of tracking. The 2.0 N/mm rate suits heavier 50cc mini-MX pilots — kids carrying gear weight, or the upper end of the stock range. Fits 29.5mm fork tubes on the SX 50, SX 50 Mini, TC 50 and MC 50 platforms. Pair them with fresh fork oil and set your sag properly. The bike will hold its line through turns and stay composed under hard braking.
