Stock YZ 65 springs ship soft for a mid-pack pee-wee; if your kid is on the heavier side of the class or pushing harder lines, the front packs down and the bike pushes wide at corner entry. 2.6 N/mm puts the front back where it should sit. Swap both legs as a pair, set fork oil height to spec, then reset race sag at the rear so the bike isn't unbalanced. Check static sag on a flat garage floor before you load the van.
