This is the 3.2 step in the 31mm small-bore range, a firmer rate than the 3.0 for a heavier rider or a faster pace on the 80/85/100cc bikes like the KX85 and YZ85. Tired OEM springs sag and let the front end blow through its travel, killing the geometry mid-corner. Going up a rate holds the fork higher and steadies the chassis under braking and on hard landings. Pick the 3.2 if you are at the top of the weight band or pushing harder than the standard spring allows. Reset oil height and cap torque to spec when you rebuild.
