Match the spring to your weight, not the previous owner's setup. 4.8 N/mm is the heavier end of stock — suits riders pushing 80kg+ in kit, or anyone bottoming the forks on jump faces and braking bumps. Drop them into the CRF 250R or 450R, set sag to factory spec, then ride before you fiddle. If the front packs down through chop, you're too soft. If it deflects off roots and skips through ruts, you're too stiff. Honda's stock rate leaves heavier riders blowing through stroke; this fixes that.
