This kit provides the necessary oil and dust seals to rebuild both fork legs. Located at the junction of the inner and outer tubes, these seals are vital for maintaining damping pressure and preventing fluid leaks. This 50mm fitment is designed for heavy-duty forks found on larger displacement bikes. If you see oil weeping onto your brake lugs, the seals have failed. Always inspect the stanchions for any nicks that could tear the new rubber. During installation, a light coat of grease on the dust seal lip will reduce stiction and improve small-bump sensitivity on the trail.
