The inner and outer bushings ride between the stanchion and the slider, taking every side load your forks see on landings and braking bumps. They wear by design so the tubes don't. Once the Teflon thins, stiction climbs, the seals start weeping, and the front end goes vague mid-corner. Always swap them when you do seals. The kit covers a wide spread of late-90s through mid-2000s two-stroke and early thumper YZ-F, WR-F, KX and CR fitments. Check your fork tube OD before ordering, drive them in square with a proper bushing tool, and refill with fresh oil to spec.
