What it is

Fork bushings are the slip surfaces inside the leg — the inner and outer tubes ride on these, not on each other. Once the Teflon-faced coating wears through to the bronze, the front end goes stiff off the top and gets vague mid-stroke. Always swap them with the seals. A new seal running on old, glazed bushings will weep again inside a season. Fits the Kawasaki KDX 250, KLX 250 (including R, S, SF), KLX 300 (R, SM) and KLX 650 (R) twin-chamber forks. Drive in flush with a split seal driver, no hammered screwdrivers.
