What it is

Bushings ride between the inner stanchion and outer fork tube. They carry the side load every braking bump and rut throws at the front end. When the Teflon coating wears through to bronze, the fork goes harsh off the top, stiction climbs, and the chassis feels vague turning in. Swap these any time the seals come out. Fitment covers the KX 125 L, KX 125 M and KX 250 forks. Drive the new bushings in with a proper seal driver, not a screwdriver. Wipe the stanchions down with brake clean before reassembly and check for any pitting above the slider line.
