Fork bushings are the sliding interface between your inner and outer tubes. The PTFE-lined surface wears with miles, and once it thins you get stiction off the top, harsh small-bump response, and vague front-end feel under brakes. This kit covers four-stroke 450 platforms: CRF 450 R, KX 450 F, WR 450 F, YZ 450 F. Standard practice during any fork seal service — fitting new seals against worn bushings tears them up inside a season. Drift the old guide bush off the tube with a slide-hammer action, fit new bushings and slider, then reseat seals with a proper driver. Cross-references to OEM.
