What it is

Fork bushings sit between the inner and outer tubes — a slider bush on the stanchion, a guide bush in the lower. They carry the side-load every time the front wheel hits a rut. When the Teflon coating wears through to bronze, you get stiction, harsh small-bump response, and a fork that chews seals within a few rides. Fit a fresh set every seal service. Direct cross-reference to KTM OEM on the SX, SX-F, XC and XC-W chassis listed. Drive them in square with a proper bush driver, clean the tubes spotless first, fresh fork oil to the spec on your bike.
