Inner and outer bushings for the fork stanchions on Honda's air-cooled XR400R/XR600R/XR650L trail trio and the CR250R two-stroke. The PTFE-coated bands ride between the slider and tube, taking side load so the stanchion glides instead of binding. When the coating thins, you feel it: harsh top-stroke, vague front end on off-camber lines, and seals that weep within a few rides. Always replace bushings with seals — fitting new seals against worn bushings just chews them again. Drift them in with a proper bushing driver, not a screwdriver and a prayer. Clean the stanchions of grit before reassembly.
