What it is

Bushings ride between the stanchion and the lower fork casting. They take the side-load of the front wheel during braking and let the tube slide cleanly through its stroke. Worn coating shows up as stiction, weeping seals and a vague front end on small chop. The kit covers a wide-ranging Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki fitment list — KLX 230 and 230R, CBR 250R, CBR 300R, EX 250R, CB 300F, CMX 450C, plus the older EX 500D and VFR 750F. Cycle them in with fresh seals, dust wipers and fork oil. Don't tap them in with a screwdriver — use the correct seal driver or you'll burr the coating before the first ride.
