Fork bushings are the low-friction guides that ride between stanchion and outer tube. Their PTFE coating wears thin over hours, and you feel it as stiction off the top of the stroke, then play in the front end under brakes. Replace them whenever you split the forks for seals. The kit covers inner and outer bushings for both legs — what a full WP 48mm closed-cartridge rebuild on the KTM SX-F, Husqvarna FC and Husaberg FE platforms actually needs. Check stanchions for nicks before reassembly, and seat the bushings with a proper driver. Hammer-and-socket work scores the coating and you start again.
