What it is

Inner and outer bushings for a full fork rebuild on the DR-Z 400 family and the closely-related KLX 400. The bushings ride on the stanchion and carry the side load as the fork strokes. Once the PTFE coating wears through to the brass, stiction climbs and seals start weeping within a couple of rides. Swap them whenever you do seals, not after. Inspect stanchions for nicks first — a sharp edge will shred a new bushing on the first stroke. Drive them in with a proper bushing driver, not a screwdriver. Refill with fresh fork oil to the correct level and you're sorted.
