What it is

The Moose Offroad FORK BUSHING KIT MOOSE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Fork bushings are the wear surface between the stanchion and the lower leg. As the Teflon coating thins, the fork develops stiction and lateral play, and the seals are next to go. This kit covers the inner (slider) and outer (guide) bushings for a complete fork rebuild on KX 250, KX 250 F, KX 250 X and KX 450 SR forks. Inspect your stanchions for nicks and polish out any high spots before reassembly. Seat the new bushings with a split driver, never a hammer and drift. Do them in pairs, both legs, with fresh seals and oil.
