What it is

Inner and outer fork bushings for the RM-Z 450 and RM-Z 450 E front end. The Teflon-coated outer rides against the stanchion; the inner runs in the slider. Once that coating wears thin, you get stiction off the top of the stroke, weeping seals, and a vague feel under braking. Replace as a pair every second seal change, or sooner if the bike's seen a hard MX season. Drop the legs, slide the old bushes off the stanchion ends, drift the new ones in with the proper SKF or Motion Pro driver. Inspect the stanchions for pitting before reassembly.
