What it is

Inner and outer guides for the fork sliders on early Honda CR125R, CR250R and CR500R two-strokes. The outer rides on the upper tube, the inner sits at the base of the stanchion. Together they carry the side-load while the damper handles the stroke. PTFE coating goes thin, stiction climbs, seals start weeping. Always replace bushings when you change seals — fresh seals on tired bushings is a false economy and chews the new lips inside a weekend. Push the old ones out with a slide-hammer or fork seal driver, check the chrome for scoring before the new set goes in.
