This gasket sits at the top of the engine between the cylinder head and the rocker cover. It is the primary seal for the valve train area on your Honda. Replace this part whenever you perform valve clearance checks or cam timing adjustments. Heat cycles eventually harden the material, leading to oil leaks around the top of the engine. Ensure the crescent cut-outs are seated perfectly in the head before torquing the cover bolts. This component provides a reliable seal against oil mist and internal pressure.
