What it is

Moose Offroad ignition cover gasket to fit Yamaha WR450F (2016–2018); Yamaha YZ450F (2014–2017); Yamaha YZ450FX (2016–2019).

This gasket seals the ignition cover to the crankcase on the left side of your engine. It keeps mud and water away from the stator and flywheel assembly. These are consumables that should be replaced whenever you pull the cover to inspect the ignition or adjust timing. A failed seal leads to moisture buildup and eventual electrical corrosion.
