This gasket seals the inner clutch cover to the main engine cases. It is required whenever you remove the inner cover to service the kickstart mechanism or internal oil pump. The gasket ensures the oil remains within the lubrication circuit and prevents external leaks. It is a model-specific fit for Yamaha engines. Clean the aluminium surfaces carefully to avoid gouging the metal during removal. Replacing this part is standard practice during any significant right-side engine work. It provides a factory-standard seal for your gearbox and primary drive area.
