This gasket seals the valve cover to the cylinder head at the top-end of your engine. It is a critical part for containing oil around the camshafts and valvetrain. You must replace this seal during every valve clearance check or shim adjustment interval. Ensure the half-moon sections and seating grooves are completely clean before installation. A precise fit prevents oil weeping onto the exhaust or spark plug gallery. This is a standard service item for maintaining the top-end integrity of your bike.
