The black version of Moose's composite handguard. No aluminium backbone, so it stays light on the bar and gives on impact rather than folding flat. Knocks roost, wind and light trail debris clear of your hands and levers. The material is meant to flex and spring back, which keeps natural bar feel and saves the mount in a low-speed spill. Suited to MX and quick trail riding where weight counts and a full wrap-around guard is more than you need. Replace once the composite shows stress whitening or deep gouges near the clamp.
