What it is

The Moose Offroad HEAD COVER GASKET 4-STROKE, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

This seal is located at the top of the cylinder head on your 4-stroke engine. It prevents oil from escaping the cam gallery and keeps contaminants out of the valvetrain. You will need this whenever you perform a valve clearance check or cam service. These seals can harden over time due to heat cycles, leading to leaks around the top-end. Clean the groove thoroughly before installation to ensure a proper seat. It is designed to meet OEM tolerances for a reliable seal under high operating temperatures.
