What it is

The Moose Offroad LEVER BRAKE MOOSE BK, levers. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The black-anodised version of Moose's replacement front brake lever for the Kawasaki KX 250 and KX 450, covering the X and SR models. It mounts to the standard perch and drives the master cylinder, holding the same reach and feel as the part that came off the bike. A bent or broken blade after a crash is routine in enduro, so carry one. Installation is straightforward on the original pivot bolt. Inspect that bolt for wear before fitting, line the actuator up with the piston, and check lever travel at the bar before you ride.
