This flap mounts behind the shock to shield the rear linkage and shock shaft from roost and packed mud. Grit and constant swingarm movement work the plastic until it splits, and a torn flap stops guarding the seals and linkage bearings it sits in front of. Replace it before that wear reaches the suspension. Universal-style fitment, so you may need to drill to match your swingarm or airbox holes. Black, and worth fitting on any Honda CRF or CR run hard in wet UK going.
