This gasket seals the outer inspection cover on the right side of your engine. You will need a fresh seal every time you change clutch plates or inspect the basket for notched tangs. These often tear during removal and should never be reused if you want to avoid oil leaks on the track. It is a vital consumable for your race kit. Keep one in the van for quick trackside repairs. The fitment is precise to ensure the cover sits true against the inner casing.
