This tether connects your rear brake pedal to the frame. It prevents trail debris, roots, and deep ruts from snagging the pedal and bending it outwards. For hard enduro and tight woods racing, it is a vital safeguard against a DNF. The stainless steel cable includes a protective sleeve to prevent wear on your engine casings. Installation requires drilling a small hole in the pedal tip if one is not present. Crimp the cable tight to ensure the pedal retains full travel without excess slack. It is a simple mechanical insurance policy for your foot controls.
