These steel drive plates sit between the friction discs to provide a stable surface for engagement. Unlike aluminium plates, these steel versions resist warping and do not contaminate your oil with metallic debris. They are a direct replacement for worn or discoloured OEM plates on your Kawasaki. If your clutch is dragging or finding neutral is difficult, your steels are likely warped from heat. Check each plate on a flat glass surface before installation. These plates provide the necessary durability for heavy-duty off-road use across MX and enduro.
