What it is

The Moose Offroad SEAL KIT COUNTERSHAFT, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

The countershaft seal is a high-wear item sitting directly behind your front sprocket. It constantly battles chain fling, grit, and mud. A leak here quickly coats your engine case and rear tyre in gearbox oil. This kit includes the necessary spacers or O-rings to restore the seal integrity of the output shaft. Check your countershaft for grooving before fitting the new rubber. It is a common failure point on enduro bikes subjected to heavy torque and dirty conditions. Replace this during every sprocket change if you notice any weeping around the drive area.
