The countershaft seal is a high-wear item located behind the front sprocket. It faces constant abuse from chain grit and mud. A failure here results in oil spraying onto your rear tyre and a drop in engine oil levels. This kit includes the seal and required O-rings to restore the seal at the output shaft. It is a standard part of any drivetrain refresh. Ensure the spacer is in good condition before fitting to prevent premature wear on the new seal lip.
