The countershaft area is a common source of leaks due to chain tension and dirt buildup. This kit replaces the O-ring and seal sitting behind your front sprocket. It prevents gearbox oil from weeping down the side of the engine cases. These components are high-wear items that should be inspected every time you swap a sprocket. The fitment is model-specific to ensure a proper seal against the spacer. Always grease the inner lip before sliding it over the shaft to prevent dry-start damage.
