The big-bore aramid bashplate, fitted to the 450 and 500 KTM and Husqvarna four-strokes; SX-F 450, XC-F 450, EXC-F 450/500 and the FC, FX, FE and FS range. Composite construction wraps the engine cases and lower rails and carries far less weight than alloy, a real saving on a bike that already runs heavy up top. Aramid takes abrasion and impact without denting, and it won't ring like a metal plate over rock. A clear pick for a race-weight enduro or cross-country build. Inspect the layup for deep cuts after rough rounds.
