Carbon fibre skid plate cut for the Yamaha YZ 250 F and YZ 250 FX. Same job, different platform: it caps the lower cases and frame rails and lets the bike slide over what it can't avoid. The carbon shell soaks an impact and springs back, lighter than alloy and quieter under the seat. The profile keeps mud off the bottom end so the engine runs cooler through a long moto. Mounts straight to the stock frame points for a flush fit. A real difference on the FX in the woods, where a hidden root ends most thin plates. Inspect the layup after any heavy strike.
