Slide bushings ride between the inner and outer fork tubes and carry the load every time the front end compresses. As the low-friction coating wears, play opens up between the tubes. That play knackers seal life and gives you a knock through the bars under braking. The 36mm size suits small-bore forks across the KX 80/85, YZ 65 and YZ 85. Swap them as a pair whenever the forks are stripped for a seal job. Run them too long and you are chasing harshness and weeping seals that no fresh seal kit will fix.
