What it is
The Moose Offroad SLIDE BUSHING SET 43MM, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Slide bushings ride on the stanchion itself, taking the side-load every time the fork compresses. Worn ones let the inner tube cock under braking, which trashes seals and turns every small chop into harshness through the bars. Pull a fork leg apart on your CR 250, RM 125 or any 43mm-stanchion KTM SX and check the friction band. If you can see copper through the dark coating, they are done. Always fit slide and guide bushings together with fresh seals and dust wipers. One full set per leg, sized for the 43mm stanchion only.
