What it is

The Moose Offroad SPOKE SET MX1 21" SS, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Moose MX1 spokes are stainless steel throughout — nipples included. Stainless matters in UK conditions: mild steel OEM spokes corrode at the elbow and seize into alloy nipples within a couple of seasons, making wheel rebuilds unnecessarily painful. The MX1 set is sized for the standard 21" front on YZ 125/250, YZ 250F/450F and WR 250F/450F — drops straight into the stock hub and rim without modification. Replace all 36 at once if more than two are snapped or you find multiple rounded nipples. Lace and tension incrementally, working opposite pairs, and finish with a torque wrench at the nipple to avoid introducing hops.
