Pull the front end off your kid's DR-Z 125, KLX 125 or RM 80 and you'll usually find the steering stem caked in old grease, a couple of rust pits on the races, and one bearing that's gone dry where water tracked in past a knackered seal. Youth bikes get ridden hard, washed harder, and serviced when something breaks. This Moose kit gives you fresh tapered bearings top and bottom plus new dust seals, so the bars turn smooth under the kid's weight instead of fighting back through ruts. Pack the races properly with marine grease, torque the stem nut to the workshop manual figure, and it'll see them through a full season.
