What it is
The Moose Offroad STEERING STEM BEARING KIT, suspension. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.
Refresh the pivot between your frame and triple clamps. These bearings sit inside the head tube to manage front-end loads. Jet washing and heavy landings force grit into the races, causing notched steering or play. Replace them if you feel a central detent or resistance when turning the bars. This kit provides the tapered rollers and seals for a complete top and bottom overhaul. Seat the new races squarely in the neck to prevent binding. Pack the rollers with waterproof grease before final assembly. This is a standard requirement for any major chassis rebuild.
