What it is

The Moose Offroad THROTTLE CABLES, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A push-pull throttle cable set for the WR 250 F, WR 450 F and YZ 250 F. The pull opens the throttle body, the closer pulls it shut, so worn cables drag both ways and the return goes vague. This set cross-references several Yamaha numbers including 17D-26302-50-00 and 5XC-26302-G0-00, and fits the OEM routing without modification. Replace both cables together, set free play at the adjusters, and check the slide closes cleanly at full lock. On a fuel-injected four-stroke a positive closer is what keeps idle and throttle response honest.
