This cable links your twist grip directly to the throttle body. It dictates engine response and rider control. Dirt ingress and internal fraying eventually cause a heavy pull or dangerous sticking. This part replaces OEM 54012-0625 and 54012-0669 for a precise fit. Route the housing through the frame to avoid the exhaust and prevent binding at full lock. Ensure the inner wire moves freely before securing the bar-end. Proper routing is critical for a consistent snap-back on the track or trail. Replace yours during a top-end rebuild or if the action feels notched.
