Throttle control cable for the bigger Kawasaki four-strokes, the KX 250 F, KX 450 and KX 450 F. It ties the twist grip to the throttle body and sets how cleanly the bike picks up off the bottom. Cross-references Kawasaki OEM 54012-0625 and 54012-0669, so match the part number on your old cable. Run the housing away from the header and clear of frame pinch points to stop it dragging at full lock. Check the inner moves freely before final fitment. A notchy or sticky action means the inner has corroded. Replace it then, not later.
