This tool acts as a third hand during tyre changes. It hooks over your spoke and pushes the tyre bead down into the drop centre of the rim. This is critical when fitting mousses or stiff-walled tyres. It prevents the bead from popping back up while you work the levers around the rim. Use it on the opposite side of your tyre levers to maintain slack. The compact design fits easily into a toolkit. It saves your knuckles and prevents damage to the tyre carcass during aggressive installs.
