What it is

The Moose Offroad TUBE 2.75/3.00 80/100-16, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

Standard size for a big-wheel 85 rear, so it drops straight into a 16-inch hoop running a 2.75/3.00 or 80/100 carcass. TR-4 straight valve stem clears most off-road rim drillings without fuss. Fit it with the rim lock seated properly and the valve nut finger-tight until the bead is home, then snug both. Dust the tube with talc before you push the tyre on. Check the rim tape covers every spoke head before you go anywhere near it with a lever. Swap it out at every tyre change if you spot chafing or heat marks.
