What it is

The Moose Offroad VENT CAP ONE WAY VALVE ALUMINUM SILVER, motocross part. Stocked by Iron Offroad, the UK MX hard parts specialist.

A one-way breather valve that screws into the top of your fuel cap. It lets air into the tank as the fuel level drops, then shuts off so petrol stays put on hard lean or in a crash. Run without one and the tank pulls a vacuum, the bike bogs, and you stall mid-moto. The internal ball seat eventually clogs with mud and grit, so it's a wear item. Machined aluminium, silver finish, universal across most aftermarket and OEM breather lines. Cut the hose to length so it can't snag the triple clamps at full lock.
