Worn bearings cause lateral play and drag, ruining your line choice. These units sit inside the hub to support the axle and allow friction-free rotation. Constant pressure washing and deep ruts eventually force grit into the races. Replace these during your mid-season teardown to prevent hub damage. Clean the hub bore and apply a light film of grease before installation. Use a driver that contacts the outer race only. This kit provides the necessary components to refresh your wheel assembly for the next race.
