Positioned on the front axle, these steel spacers maintain the correct alignment of your front wheel and brake disc. The steel material is chosen for its resistance to the constant friction of the hub seals. If your current spacers have visible rings worn into them, the seals can no longer keep dirt out of the bearings. This leads to a gritty feel in the front end and eventual bearing seizure. These are model-specific for a precise fit. During installation, ensure the spacers are clean and apply a small amount of grease to the seal contact area.
