§ 02 / About this part
What it is
Motion Pro throttle cable to fit KTM EXC 400 RACING (2000–2002); KTM EXC 520 RACING (2000–2002); KTM EXC400 (2000–2002); KTM EXC520 (2000–2002); KTM MXC400 (2000–2002); KTM MXC520 (2000–2002); KTM SX 400 RACING (2000–2002); KTM SX 520 RACING (2000–2002); KTM SX400 (2000–2002); KTM SX520 (2000–2002).
Throttle cable for the early KTM 400 and 520 four-strokes, covering EXC, MXC and SX in RACING trim. Direct replacement for OEM 59002091200. Enduro and moto use packs grit into the housing, and once it works past the seals the action turns gritty and heavy. A fresh cable brings back the light pull you want for picking lines. The black vinyl outer shrugs off UV and chemical splash. Route it well clear of the header and radiator before you cable-tie anything down. Set the free play at the grip so the throttle answers without hanging the revs.
